With just 185 grams per shoe, great comfort and a PRO level of performance, the Empire SLX allows you to fly first class. To create a minimalist shoe that has the same support structure as the legendary Empire but enhances its style, we started with a single piece of Synchwire monofilament fabric that surrounds a classic lace closure for a second-skin feel. The heat-sealed Teijin TPU footbed provides structural support in strategic points and the high-modulus Easton EC90 SLX2 carbon fiber sole converts energy and does not waste any watts. The Super Natural Fit system is the finishing touch that allows you to adjust the support for great comfort and superlative pedaling efficiency.
