By taking the same high-tech features found in the men's Doctor Clima shorts, adapting them with a specific cut and pad for women, we have created the most comfortable and high-performance cycling shorts currently available.
The Doctor Clima cycling bib shorts for women use a high-density proprietary fabric that is 15% lighter than that of the classic Doctor shorts, and is characterized by the particular structure that promotes gradual compression and stimulates blood flow. Real silver thread, with antibacterial, antistatic and electrosmog shielding properties, is integrated into the weave of the fabric and helps reduce muscle fatigue. Above all, however, the ergogenic cut of this model has been revised, so as to reduce the number of seams to a minimum and allow strategic positioning of the panels for maximum pedaling support, reduction of muscle fatigue and increased balance. The construction of the abdominal area has been modified by inserting an ultra-light fabric made with a special yarn that promotes heat dissipation to help your core stay cool and dry. The seams have been reduced to a minimum to increase comfort by eliminating any possible unwanted pressure points. In the area above the saddle, we have redesigned the cut of the contact panel and eliminated the central seam which often causes pressure and discomfort when riding a bike, and optimized the contact surface between saddle and pad which thus adapts naturally to the different types of saddles. The panel made of Dyneema® fabric offers greater durability and promotes thermoregulation of this delicate area thanks to the conductive properties of the polyethylene fibres. We left nothing to chance to make the women's pad as comfortable and supportive as possible. The Fusion Lady pad is made by fusing two technologies: the padding is sewn in the front part to guarantee more flexibility and breathability, while it is thermoformed in the back part to guarantee greater support. The 120 kg/m³ of higher density open cell foam is shaped and stitched in the front area, while the "smooth" multi-density thermoformed padding used in the rear area, where flexibility is less of a necessity than support. This pad offers complete support for training, races and endurance rides.
