The Q36.5 Grid Skin winter bib tights were developed to protect you and your skin from damage during unwanted contact with the road. Using newly developed 4D printing technology to integrate a protective skin into the tights material, it protects your skin in case of an unexpected accident. The new GRDXKN® 4D printing technology allows us to print a protective structure into the fabric of the material. This printing technology transforms ordinary fabrics into smart fabrics. In fact, the material properties of the GRDXKN® matrix have been successfully tested in crash simulations up to 100 km/h. The high-quality fabrics used are reinforced and padded while remaining particularly light and flexible. In terms of walking convenience, clothing equipped with GRDXKN® can be washed normally. The Grid Skin Winter Bib Tights are another example of our continued focus on a more eco-friendly approach as they are made from 100% recycled material. We use 100% recycled microfleece fabric with a long-lasting water-repellent treatment to ensure a high level of insulation and eco-friendliness. The Grid Skin Winter Bib Tights also feature an updated pre-shaped cut that we've employed to provide the most ergonomic fit to improve not only performance but also comfort. Thanks to our detailed body mapping research with a focus on reducing the number of seams, we have been able to position our panels to support your muscles while pedaling. For the saddle and pad interface, we use a new proprietary model to improve the saddle/pad intersection. Our innovative design eliminates the center seam that typically causes pressure and discomfort while riding. The new design replicates the contact surface of the saddle and is made with a molded fabric that naturally adapts to different types of saddles. To increase comfort in the pelvic area, an anti-stress cut allows greater freedom of movement and absence of pressure points. The pad uses a new three-dimensional SuperMoulded-Anatomic construction that better follows the anatomy of the human body and offers greater comfort while running. The foam padding has been calibrated according to the variable density and thickness scheme in the perineal, ischial, genital and buttock areas, obtaining an extremely sophisticated regulation of overall comfort.
