BEYOND EXPECTATIONS The Eclipse™ Spherical is an aero road helmet that brings together our best technologies with a lightweight and compact design, ideal for road and gravel racing alike. The sleek, close-fitting outer shell actively streamlines airflow to reduce drag across multiple angles of attack, while 14 Wind Tunnel™ vents channel air through the helmet to deliver incredible cooling power that rivals our road helmets with much more aggressive ventilation. Inside, the Spherical Technology™ ball and socket design developed in conjunction with Mips®, the brain protection system, allows the EPS foam outer shell to rotate around the inner shell during an impact to help redirect forces of impact away from the brain and therefore reduce its negative effects. Furthermore, the progressive stratification of the internal and external shell helps to offer more complete protection: the external shell is more rigid to better resist impacts while the internal shell is "softer" to reduce the effects on the head. The Roc Loc® 5 Air size adjuster improves the helmet's stability and fit, while the Ionic+™ antimicrobial padding helps absorb sweat and moisture and provides long-lasting antimicrobial performance.
