A winter jacket suitable for
all weather conditions , a versatile garment,
ideal for cycling on any terrain , designed for Globetrotters, the so-called 'globetrotters'. Designed not exclusively with racing in mind, this new model offers great
functionality without restrictions . The inspiration for this jacket comes from what was learned during the various winter sports activities practiced in the Dolomites and from the needs that arise from these sports, including skiing, ski mountaineering and mountaineering. Reinterpreted for cycling, it is not the traditional soft shell jacket commonly used in winter, but a real weapon that integrates the protection of a garment based on
body mapping and insulation properties in a single design, combining
waterproofness and
thermal insulation through a "sandwich" construction. The extraordinary result is a winter jacket with the
futuristic weight of only 285 g (size M)! It is
30% lighter than the Thermal Jacket , but can be used for the same temperature range.
Technologies:
- The outer layer is constructed according to body mapping that combines a patented three-layer waterproof fabric , the UF 75Shell (75 g/m2 and 15 denier) with a durable water-repellent treatment .
- The internal thermal layer is constructed with a new version of the proprietary UF Air Insulation fabric, a knitted jacquard fabric made with a mix of micropolyester in order to increase thermal protection . This fabric creates a layer of hot air directly in contact with the skin, allowing a high degree of vapor absorption/emission before it has time to turn into sweat due to condensation.
- Airtight Protection : The jacket is designed with an airtight collar, elasticated cuffs and an elastic hem that protects from cold air through airtight protection at the most strategic points.
