Xerpa XP2 is a bottle cage designed to integrate perfectly into the look of your bicycle. XP2 is molded in rigid plastic and is universal (always supplied with Xerpa 550 ml bottle).
The real innovation of XP2 lies in the base which has been designed to contain a spiral-wound air chamber and the tire lever levers. XP2 will be supplied already with a light inner tube inserted in it in addition to the two tire remover levers.
XP2 is colored : proposed in two versions (black or white base), it is sold in 5 colors. The bottle cage skin is color matched to the bottle cap.
XP2 has great mechanical compatibility, but cannot be mounted on all frames. Material : POM thermoplastic (black) ABS (white)
XP2 weight : 81 gr
Bottle weight : 62 gr
Internal elements :
As a rule, Xerpa XP2 can be easily installed on frames with size 54 or larger. In some cases, on sloopy frames, a preliminary check may be necessary.
For frames smaller than size 52, a preliminary check is always required.
Below we propose a simple visual scheme which shows the minimum sizes required to install Xerpa XP2 and, if necessary, also the second Xerpa XP3 bottle cage (universal product).
For reasons of limited space, Xerpa XP2 has been designed to contain only low thickness inner tubes. So light or ultralight air chambers (fixed or removable valves up to 60mm). Each tube manufacturer produces and markets product versions compatible with Xerpa XP2 .
These inner tubes are therefore easily available on the market. Material : POM thermoplastic
XP1 weight : 59 gr (including fixing elements)
Inflation elements :
We tested Xerpa XP1 thanks to the collaboration of the most important saddle manufacturers on the national territory.
However, the world of saddles is constantly updated so we think that the best references to understand if Xerpa XP1 is compatible with your saddle are numerical references.
Below we propose a simple visual scheme where it is possible to understand the minimum measure of the light between the two tracks, under which Xerpa XP1 can NOT be installed.
Beyond the minimum size, the shape of the tracks is important.
