We made it even faster. The Vanish Carbon 2 features a full-length carbon fiber plate, an even lighter, more cushioned foam midsole and increased flexibility. It is designed to allow you to train better on speed and set new personal bests in competition. For better performance, we raised the stack from 33 to 36 mm and reduced the weight of the Altra EGO PRO™ foam midsole by 32%. The new foam is more flexible for greater cushioning and responsiveness. The improved full-length carbon fiber plate increases asymmetry by 14% for a more natural (and faster) stride. The structure has been rethought and the sole redesigned with more grooves to offer 75% more flexibility.
