Wouldn't it be great if most events started in the middle of the day, with the sun high, everyone warm and the best light possible. Unfortunately the length of events and road closure times mean that a 7am start is not out of the ordinary and, as we all know, the light 30 minutes after the gun has gone off is very different and even more so with the advance of the morning.

"Aphotic" by HUUB, our first swimming goggle that becomes darker or lighter thanks to photochromic technology during the race without you realizing it. A self-adjusting lens that provides the comfort and vision needed to maximize your sighting and help you swim.

The clarity of the “photochromic” vision helps sighting and allows you to get around obstacles and other swimmers even when swimming in the sun or with your back to the sun.

These incredible lenses fit perfectly and take just 160 seconds to go from light to dark, offering maximum performance for every turn of every mark.

Special patented photochromic dyes that activate or darken the lens when exposed to ultraviolet rays of sunlight. As UV light decreases, the lenses fade. As light conditions change, the tint level adapts, delivering the right tint at the right time.
