PROFILE DESIGN 39aH ALUMINUM EXTENSION 365mm

The 39AH is designed to pair with our pad wadges to convert non-tilting aerobars to have a 10° or 15° pitch. The name means 39°, aluminum skyscraper.

The extension angle starts at 54° and when you add a 15° wedge, it balances the angle at 39° (54°-15°=39°). Similarly, trimming with a 10° wedge gives a total of 44° (54-10°=44°).

The handle is long enough to be shortened for use with the 10° wedge.

Performance

The sole purpose of the extensions is to provide a comfortable position for the rider's hands relative to the armrests. They improve performance by allowing the cyclist to relax in the optimal position. That's why we provide multiple fit options so every cyclist can pursue the best performance.

Extension Shape: Streamlined shape like other A-series extensions, offers aerodynamic shaping in the raised section and lateral offset for grip.

The 39AH has a 54° curve and when combined with a 15° wedge brings it to 39°.

Use the 39AH with one of our pad wedge options and an Ergo+ or Race+ armrest to add lean and comfort to a profileless aero handlebar.

Please note that bearing wedges are not compatible with Profile Design brackets, therefore the 39AH is not recommended for use with Profile Design bars.

Technical guide

All extensions have a diameter of 22.2 mm in the clamping area.
They are designed to route cables out the back of the extensions, so they do not have cable exit holes.

Extensions fit any aero handlebar designed for 22.2mm. So it can be used by any cyclist who wants to improve the comfort of their aerobar grips.
