CHANDU: 2015 TRIATHLON results and standings

And Chandu 2015 Edition ends, one of the hardest triathlon in Italy with some confirmations and other revelations.
Challenging tracks, rough, sportingly to fighters with podiums that are achieved with satisfaction by registered athletes. A fraction that cycling has a great impact on the entire race, suffice it to say that in a typical medium-performance athletes complete the swimming and biking in 2 hours and 30 minutes, here instead Pierluigi Senor (first overall) took 3 hours and 13 minutes.

We begin to tell the distance K55 Km (1nuoto + 47ciclismo, +10 5podismo) in which immediately began a duel between Christian and Bruno Pasqualini Iuliano among men, while among women met Ingletto clear and Silvia Vezzini.
Christian, who has already pointed to Tour Italy, Iron in water is a turbine and distance Bruno, Italian champion in duathlon, a few minutes, reaches first Exchange area but the Pakistani in tallona running up to overcome it and to cross the finish line with 02:40:25. Pakistan: "In T2 (Exchange area bike/run) I saw that I was in -30 as a Christian and I tried, a great duel". Arrives at 02:41:45, Iuliano hug between the two to establish the spirit of triathletes to share joys and emotions.
3 place the ' Fausto ex cliclista Fognini in his first year of competing in triathlons with the Pool Calhoun 1999.
The Ingletto seems to have a particular feeling with Spartacus Events: events stood out for having won all 5 stages by Iron-5 sprint Tour in 5 days on the island of Elba. WINS here at Hydro with the Vezzini 03:09:59, outdistancing by 5 minutes and 27 seconds. Clear and Silvia gave their best in the chassis, which are both usually very performant. Chiara declares: "one of the toughest races in which I participated, an ascent continues. It takes a lot to get to the finish line head. The organization is of quality and Spartacus always chooses scenic destinations admirable. Have thought well to the run, flat after a cycle of fatigue and in a context in the lake where it was possible to have an audience and much cheering that is important psychologically for us athletes. "
Last note on: how size K55 5 ' men winning a large absolute proof the young (20 years) Marco faithful of CUS TRENTO with 02:47:20.

The Middle-K113 Km (1, 9nuoto + 86ciclismo + 21podismo), half ironman, regular starts as scheduled at 08:00 and after a little more than 30 minutes out of water, great swimmer Fabrizio della Pratogrande di Lecco, who is forced to retire later on the village bike due to a gearbox failure.
Before tackling the climb of Magasa are in head Filippo Rossi of Turin, at Aquatica brow people still Rossi and Pierluigi follow Senor and Balan Lorenzo both of Cus Torino. Those arriving between the first absolute Prize 5? In order of arrival we:
Pierluigi Senor 05:21:58
Lorenzo Balan 05:30:03
Mohammad Rahim (athletics Manara) 05:30:03
Max Gallegos (Liger Team Keyline) 05:32:48
Luigi Rado (TTS) 05:35:33
Pierluigi tells us that wanted to win, he that cycling cyclist left him with regret. He always chooses tough and competitive triathlons to prove how much is in the bike. Swimming is for him a black beast, but here at Chandu Although frightened by altitude biking (2750 m) heard that the legs were good and gave so much and so the coveted (and sweaty) victory has arrived!
Four women listed in this tough half ironman: Luisa Fumagalli (Team Forhans), Paola Torretti (you know White arrows), Francesca Fracassi (Road Runners) and Maria Angioni (Triathlon). He won the first ever female Luisa with 06:49:57.
Congratulations to all and then ... until next year with Chandu 2016!

SCOTT KINABALU: DOUBLE PODIO SCOTT TO SKYRUNNING WORLD SERIES

DOUBLE PODIO SCOTT ALLA

SKYRUNNING

WORLD SERIES

SCOTT athletes are the protagonists of Hong Kong's Msig Sai Kung, the race as the Asian skyrunning championship that inaugurated the World Series.

Wonderful victory of ELISA DESCO with a time of 3h41'02 "preceded the Italian Stephanie Jimenez of 43".

An authoritative test of the world champion, which has proven to be a great period of form witnessed by repeated victories throughout Europe between January and February in preparation tests.

Another win from the male test, but Marco De Gasperi who commanded the race was wrong in the middle of the race being overtaken by Japanese Dai Matsumoto, then went on to win in 2h49'23 "and on the other Japanese Yoshihito Kondo, second to 2'18 ". For the SCOTT color carrier however more than positive third place at 5'09 ".

This is how Marco commented: " Very technical and difficult race in Hong Kong's World Series 2015 Skyrunning Continental test. Third place behind the pair of strong Japanese skyrunners Dai Matsumoto and Yoshihito Kondo. I was disappointed to have gone wrong when I was in the lead alone in the middle of the race. Good experience, but I still need to learn to avoid - at 38 - these mistakes!

ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS OLYMPIC TRIATHLON 2015: CLASSIFICATIONS

Anna Maria Mazzetti triumphed in the Olympic Triathlon Championship 2015 and wins your tenth tricolor title Anna Maria Mazzetti and Davide Uccellari Olympic triathlon champions 2015

Anna Maria Mazzetti and Davide Uccellari are the new Italian Olympic triathlon champions. In the afternoon of Saturday, June 6, in Farra d'Alpago (BL) spectacular races that led to the assignment of absolute tricolors and under 23.

In addition to the Golden Flames and the Blue Flames, they climb to the second step of the podium Sara Dossena (707), who is the author of a long retreat, and Massimo De Ponti (Carabinieri); They complete the podium Angelica Olmo (Pianeta Acqua), Junior who for the second consecutive year is also national champion under 23 and Luca Facchinetti (Triathlon Ravenna). Under-23 men for Dario Chitti (CUS Parma) closing the fifth overall behind Giulio Molinari (Carabinieri).

Memorable day on Lake Santa Croce , which awakened in tricolor from early morning. At 13.30 the start of the first race, those of women, who dive into difficult waters to swim, due to the strong wind.

Partenza_Donne_2

The stroke up to the first buoy is in fact strongly countercurrent and the athletes struggle. After the first 750 meters, Veronica Signorini (Triathlon Cremona), Angelica Olmo (Planet of the Water), Sara Papais (TD Rimini) and Anna Maria Mazzetti (Flames Gold) come out of the water for a short stretch.

It is the same quartet to enter first in the exchange zone, followed in 20 seconds by Ilaria Zane (DDS) and Verena Steinhauser (Triathlon Cremona).

In the fraction of cycling, after six rounds of 6.6K and a 500m uphill at Village Riviera, the quartet maintains a fairly good advantage on the tracker group including Sara Dossena (707) and Giorgia Priarone (TD Rimini).

Donne_Frazione_Bici_3

They are the two to drive the pursuit (in the meantime he retires, due to a fall, Zane) and recover some tread on the tread. But it is in the fractional walk that decides the tricolor podium.

Mazzetti takes the head of the race and with a decidedly sustained rhythm he gains more ground. Dossena comes in for a definite comeback , leading him to second place at the end of the third lap.

But victory is all for Anna Maria Mazzetti who cuts the finish line after 2:11:46; Dossena confirms at very high levels and is (still) silver in 2:12:41, Olmo makes his brilliant bronze at 2:14:30. For her, followed in the category podium by Priarone and Papais, also comes the second under 23 consecutive title.

Anna Maria Mazzetti triumphed in the Olympic Triathlon Championship 2015 and wins your tenth tricolor title

"I'm really happy with this title , it's been a tough part of the swim, hard on the falsopian with the wind even more than the ascent. We had an advantage in the bike that initially thinned, but then stabilized. I kept thinking, we are tired, but they too behind us. I have to thank my escape comrades, who have worked hard. Then on foot I kept asking for the advantage over Dossena, I knew he was recovering, but when I found out about the minute advantage, I kept it hard and I did not give up. "

Anna Maria Mazzetti (Flames Gold), tenth tricolor between triathlon sprint and olympic

For Dossena, silver to the European duathlon duo, class duathlon, the triathlon Europa Cup in Madrid and the medium triathlon European Championship at Challenge Rimini, the still-united medal of a season to be framed.

"In swimming I was so in trouble, I still have to improve a lot, but in cycling, thanks to the great work of Giorgia Priarone, we came back and then I could walk. I want to continue insisting on the Olympic distance and I must continue to work hard on swimming. "

Sara Dossena, 707 Triathlon Color Holder

This is a very important test for Olmo, who after the accident suffered this winter came from third place at the Grand Prix in Rimini. For the second year, the 18-year-old, still in the Junior category, dominates the under 23 and gains another absolute podium.

"I'm really happy for the good feelings of swimming, after the accident I did not think I was ready but I felt better than Rimini. The goal now is to make a good result at the European junior in July in Switzerland »

Angelica Olmo (Water Planet)

The men's race is very different and with several changes in the head. After 1,500 meters of swimming, the caravans Giulio Molinari and Massimo De Ponti and Luca Facchinetti (Triathlon Ravenna) leave the lake.

Partenza_Uomini_2

But they are all there, one behind each other. As predicted, Molinari and Alberto Casadei (Golden Flames) take the lead of the group and finish off the second lap. The advantage increases for up to one minute.

The two know that for hopes of victory they must take advantage as much as possible. They are still ahead of the change zone, but as the miles rise on foot the two are sucked.

Uomini_Frazione_Bici_2_inseguitori

And headed, David Uccellari (Blue Flames). By the lake is just "Uccio" to triumph at 1:58:27, behind him, only 9 ", closes Massimo De Ponti, closes the podium Facchinetti that arrives after another 22".

Fifth overall and new Italian champion under 23, Dario Chitti (CUS Parma) ahead of Lorenzo Ciuti and Marco Corrà , both of Minerva Roma, for the podium in the category.

"I was just about to win, it was for a while that I was following this Olympic tricolor! I dedicate this title to my parents and to my group, the Blue Flames. I'm particularly pleased with the swim, which is definitely moved. By bike we checked the escape and then on foot I gave it all. I knew that De Ponti was training me, I realized I had just won on the straight line. "

Satisfied both De Ponti, the author of a beautiful hiking trail in return, both Facchinetti and once again gave the best in a "tosta" race.

"After two years really difficult, like under 23, this year I'm getting so much satisfaction. Three podiums in three weeks and today I went to great, although I was afraid I was a bit tired for the other two races. Now I should be summoned for the Under-23s in Spain and I hope to have some World Cup too. "

Dario Chitti (CUS Parma), winner of the Italian title Under 23

It was not the starting champion Alessandro Fabian, who was stopped by a knee problem.

"I was sorry not to defend my title, I was aiming to win the seventh tricolor and among other things the Treviso and Belluno have now adopted me. Today I congratulate my successor, David Uccellari. I would like to go back for the middle of July for Europeans in Switzerland. "

Alessandro Fabian (Carabinieri), six times triathlon triathlon

The 45 minutes of the race will be aired on Rai Sport 1 starting at 21 on Sunday, June 7, with Enrico Cattaneo's journalist commentary and Alessandro Fabian's technical support. There will also be a brief service on the event during the broadcast of Sunday Sportiva Estate, always broadcasting on Rai Sport 1.

But in the meantime everything is ready for the second day of racing, the Triathlon Sprint is valid for Rank (750 meters swimming, 20 km by bike and 5 km on foot).

The program will include the retrieval of the technical envelope from 8 am to 9:15 pm; From 9 am to 10 am the opening of the exchange zone; Departure (single battery) is fixed at 10.30; Awards will be held at 13.00.

BELL HELMETS ALL MOUNTAIN/DIRT: NEW MIPS TECHNOLOGY

Since 1954, BELL is committed to design and provide specific protection through a series of tests that SIMULATE the MOST IMPACT POSSIBLE.
This global approach of the test is based on the reality of specific races, since there are always equal impacts. Thanks to this fact, it's the STANDARD BELL a standard of evidence that comes from decades of experience on the design of the helmet in our laboratories. The STANDARD BELL represents the commitment of
Bell for protection along its entire range and allowing athletes to run with great confidence.
Linear acceleration
Using a linear accelerometer and a speed instrument, we can perform on the helmets of the "drop test" on various surfaces as required by government regulations and control system
Rotational acceleration
Now we can test the helmet by varying the speed, weight and the angle causing it to wear to a dummy which collides on a surface, simulating the mechanics of an impact.
These tests have led to innovations such as the progressive stratification
and the wrap-around protection.
Now, that same commitment continues with our investment in the MIPS technology and partnering with ICEdot as the next evolution of complete protection
WHAT IS MIPS?
MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a sliding floor system designed to rotate inside the helmet with the intent to reduce and slow down the amount of energy transferred to the head and the purpose of
reduce the rotational impact injuries.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT
When the head rotates quickly and suddenly stops, rotational acceleration can cause the brain tissue high levels of tension. The fabric elongation caused by these movements can cause various types of brain injury. MIPS has been designed with the intent of addressing the rotational acceleration generated by impact
How does that work
MIPS uses a sliding floor system that moves inside the helmet, imitating its the security system of the brain. This layer is designed to rotate inside the helmet in an attempt to slow down or reduce the amount of energy transferred to or from the skull. Science tells us that if we can reduce the tensions associated with rotational acceleration and thus reduce the risk and severity of brain injury.
